Uploading files to your website

There are two easy ways to get files onto your Dirham A Day hosting: the browser-based File Manager or an FTP client.

Using File Manager:

1. Sign in at my.dirhamaday.ae and open the DirhamHost panel.
2. Open File Manager and navigate into public_html (or a subfolder for an add-on domain).
3. Click Upload, then drag files in or browse for them. Wait for each to reach 100%.

Using FTP (best for many or large files): create an FTP account in the panel, then connect with FileZilla and drag files into public_html.

Tips:

• To upload a whole website, ZIP it first, upload the single archive, then right-click it and choose Extract.
• Your home page should be named index.html or index.php.
• File names are case-sensitive on our Linux servers, so Logo.png and logo.png are different.
