How do I set up SSL on WordPress?
Your WordPress site already has a free certificate from Dirham A Day; the job is to make WordPress use HTTPS everywhere.
Step 1: confirm the certificate. Check SSL/TLS Status in the DirhamHost panel via my.dirhamaday.ae and run AutoSSL if your domain is not yet secured.
Step 2: update your site addresses. In WordPress, go to Settings → General and set both WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) to https://yourdomain.ae. Save; you may be logged out and need to sign back in over HTTPS.
Step 3: force HTTPS. Enable Force HTTPS Redirect for your domain in the panel so http:// visitors are redirected.
Step 4: fix mixed content. Old posts may reference http:// images. Use a plugin such as Better Search Replace to change http://yourdomain.ae to https://yourdomain.ae across the database. Alternatively, a plugin like Really Simple SSL automates steps 2 to 4.
After this, load your site and confirm the padlock on the home page and an inner page. If any page still shows "Not fully secure", it is leftover mixed content; our team can help on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae.
