Why does my site say "Not secure"?
The "Not secure" label appears in the browser address bar when a page is not served over a valid HTTPS connection. It is a warning to visitors, and it can cost you trust and sales, so it is worth fixing promptly.
Common causes and fixes:
- No certificate yet. If your domain recently pointed to us, AutoSSL may still be issuing. Check SSL/TLS Status in the DirhamHost panel via my.dirhamaday.ae and run AutoSSL if needed.
- Site not forcing HTTPS. The certificate exists but visitors still load
http://. Enable Force HTTPS Redirect for your domain. - Mixed content. The page loads over HTTPS but includes some
http://images or scripts. Update those links tohttps://. - Expired certificate. Usually caused by DNS pointing elsewhere. Re-run AutoSSL once DNS is corrected.
To diagnose, click the "Not secure" text in the address bar; the browser often explains whether the certificate is missing, expired, or the page has insecure content.
