My SSL certificate has expired, what do I do?

An expired certificate makes browsers show a full-page security warning, which stops most visitors in their tracks. The good news is that with Dirham A Day it is almost always quick to fix, because our certificates are meant to renew automatically.

If a certificate has still expired, one of these is usually the cause:

• DNS moved away from our servers, so automatic renewal could not validate the domain.
• A redirect or proxy blocked the renewal check.
• The domain or subdomain was renamed after the last issuance.

To resolve it:

1. Log in to the DirhamHost panel from my.dirhamaday.ae and open SSL/TLS Status.
2. Find the affected domain, tick it, and choose Run AutoSSL to re-issue immediately.
3. Confirm your domain's DNS still points to our servers so future renewals succeed.

Re-issuance normally completes within minutes once validation passes. If AutoSSL will not complete, the domain likely is not resolving to us yet.
