Using the CWP importer

For customers moving from CentOS Web Panel (CWP), Dirham A Day provides a built-in CWP importer - purpose-built tooling that brings CWP accounts across to our platform smoothly.

CWP organises accounts differently from cPanel, so a generic import would not do it justice. Our CWP importer is designed specifically for CWP: it takes your CWP account and rebuilds it on our side, bringing across the parts that make up your site so it works the same once it is here:

• Your website files.
• Your databases.
• Your email accounts and messages.

Because it is built for CWP, the importer handles the translation between CWP's layout and our platform for you - there is no need to manually repackage or reformat your account.

How it is used:

• You give us access to your current CWP server (or a suitable backup of your account).
• Our team runs the CWP importer to recreate your account on our platform.
• You test the migrated site, and we complete the switch when you are happy.

As with all our migrations, we can keep your site online throughout using a reverse-proxy cutover, so you get little or no downtime and often no need to change DNS until you are ready.
