Testing your setup with mail-tester

mail-tester.com is a free tool that scores how likely your email is to reach the inbox and pinpoints exactly what to fix. It is the quickest way to check your SPF, DKIM and DMARC are working.

How to use it:

1. Go to mail-tester.com and copy the unique test address it shows (e.g. test-xxxx@mail-tester.com).
2. From your Dirham A Day mailbox - or your website's contact/newsletter system - send a normal message to that address, ideally with your usual signature and content.
3. Return to mail-tester and click Check your score.

You will get a score out of 10 plus a detailed breakdown:

• Whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC pass.
• Whether your reverse DNS is valid.
• If your domain or IP is on any blacklist.
• Content warnings (spammy phrases, broken HTML, missing unsubscribe).

Aim for 9-10/10. Work through each red or orange item - most commonly a missing DKIM or DMARC record, which you can add via the panel. Test again after each change. Test the actual system that sends your mail (for example your WooCommerce store or newsletter tool), not just webmail, since each may authenticate differently.
