Setting up DKIM

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) adds a cryptographic signature to every message you send. The receiving server checks this signature against a public key published in your DNS, proving the mail genuinely came from your domain and was not altered in transit.

On Dirham A Day hosting, DKIM can usually be enabled with one click:

1. Open the DirhamHost panel and go to Email Deliverability (or Email Authentication).
2. Find your domain and click Manage.
3. If DKIM is not yet installed, click Install / Enable DKIM - the panel generates the key and adds the DNS record automatically.

If your domain's DNS is hosted elsewhere, the panel shows you the DKIM TXT record (a selector like default._domainkey and a long key value) to add at your DNS provider.

Points to note:

• DKIM works alongside SPF and DMARC - all three together give the best deliverability.
• After enabling, send a test to a service like mail-tester.com to confirm the signature passes.
• Do not modify the generated key - if it becomes invalid, mail can fail DKIM checks.
