Shared calendars and contacts

Beyond email, your Dirham A Day mailbox can store contacts and calendars that sync across devices, so your team can share schedules and address books.

In Omnio webmail you will find a Contacts section to store and organise addresses, and a Calendar to manage appointments. You can create events, set reminders and, where supported, share a calendar with colleagues.

Syncing to devices uses open standards:

• CalDAV for calendars and CardDAV for contacts.
• On iPhone/Mac, add a CalDAV/CardDAV account in Settings using your mail server hostname and full email credentials.
• On Android, apps such as DAVx5 connect CalDAV/CardDAV to the built-in calendar and contacts.

This lets a small team keep a shared bookings calendar or a common contact list without a separate subscription service. Use your server hostname (e.g. mail.yourdomain.ae) and full email address when configuring the DAV account.
