Setting up email in Apple Mail (Mac)

To add your Dirham A Day mailbox to Apple Mail on a Mac:

1. Open Mail > Settings > Accounts > + (or Mail > Add Account).
2. Choose Other Mail Account and click Continue.
3. Enter your name, full email address and password, then Sign In.
4. When it cannot auto-detect, enter the server details manually:

• Account type: IMAP
• Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.ae
• Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.ae
• User name: your full email address; Password: your mailbox password

After it connects, open Accounts > Server Settings and confirm:

• Incoming (IMAP): port 993, SSL/TLS.
• Outgoing (SMTP): port 465 or 587, authentication on, full email as username.

Use IMAP so your mailbox stays consistent across the Mac, iPhone and webmail. If sending fails, untick "Automatically manage connection settings" and set the SMTP port and authentication manually.
