DirhamVault

Restoring a database

Your website's database holds much of what makes it work - your WordPress posts and settings, your shop's orders and products, your customer accounts. If a database becomes corrupted, is changed by a bad plugin, or is affected by a security incident, DirhamVault lets you restore just that database on its own.

Restoring only the database is often exactly what you want, because it brings back your content and data without touching your files, themes or email. To do it:

  1. Log in to the DirhamHost panel.
  2. Open the DirhamVault backup section.
  3. Choose database restore.
  4. Select the restore point from before the problem occurred.
  5. Pick the specific database you want to restore and confirm.

A few tips:

Database restores can feel technical, so please do not hesitate to ask for help - our UAE-based team can carry out or supervise a database restore to make sure the right restore point is chosen and nothing important is lost. We are available 24/7 on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae.
