Monitoring your resources and getting alerts
The best way to avoid nasty surprises is to keep a light eye on your resource usage, so you can act before a small trend becomes a slow site. Dirham A Day gives you the tools to do this.
Live and historical graphs. In the DirhamHost panel, the resource-usage section shows current usage and history for CPU, memory, entry processes and disk activity. Checking these once a week takes a minute and tells you whether your site is comfortable or creeping toward its limits.
What to watch for:
- Lines that increasingly hit and hold at the ceiling.
- A baseline that rises month on month as your traffic grows.
- Spikes at times that do not match your real visitor numbers (a sign of bots or a runaway task).
Acting on what you see. A rising trend is your cue to optimise (caching, fewer plugins, image compression) or, if the site is genuinely busy, to upgrade to a larger plan for more headroom.
If you would rather not watch graphs yourself, our team can help. When we notice an account repeatedly hitting its limits, we often reach out proactively with suggestions - and you are always welcome to ask us to take a look. Because our support is 24/7 and UAE-based, someone is available whenever you need a second opinion. Send a screenshot of your graph to support@dirhamaday.ae or message us on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767.
