Re-issuing SSL after migrating

After your site moves to Dirham A Day, your SSL certificate - the thing that gives you the padlock and the secure https address - usually needs to be re-issued on our platform. This is a normal, quick part of migration, and we handle it for you.

Why re-issuing is needed: an SSL certificate is tied to the specific server serving your site. When your site moves to our platform, a fresh certificate is issued here so that your secure padlock keeps working on the new setup. Your visitors should never see a security warning.

How it works:

• Once your site is served from our platform, we issue a new SSL certificate for your domain.
• Your site then loads over https with a valid padlock, just as before.
• We check for any "mixed content" issues (pages that still call an insecure resource) and help resolve them so the padlock stays clean.

What you might notice:

• Around the cutover, there can be a brief moment while the new certificate takes effect - we time this to minimise any impact.
• If you ever see a certificate warning after a move, tell us straight away and we will re-issue promptly.

For most sites this is entirely behind the scenes - you simply keep your green padlock. Secure https is important both for your visitors' trust and for search rankings, so we treat it as a standard step of every migration.
