Using plus-addressing (sub-addressing)

Plus-addressing (also called sub-addressing) lets you add a tag to your email address using a + sign, without creating a new mailbox. Mail sent to you+shopping@yourdomain.ae still arrives in you@yourdomain.ae, but now carries a label you can filter on.

How to use it:

Why it is handy:

To make it work, set up a filter rule: in Omnio, add a rule that matches the To address containing +shopping and moves it to a chosen folder. Note that a few websites incorrectly reject the + character in sign-up forms; in that case use a dedicated alias instead. Plus-addressing needs no setup in the panel - it works out of the box on your mailboxes. Questions about building useful filters? Our team can help - WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767.
