Email Deliverability

One-click vs manual DKIM setup

There are two ways to get DKIM working on your Dirham A Day domain, depending on where your DNS is managed.

One-click (DNS hosted with us): if your domain uses Dirham A Day nameservers, DKIM is effortless:

  1. Open the DirhamHost panel and go to Email Deliverability.
  2. Find your domain and click Manage or Install.
  3. The panel generates the DKIM key and publishes the DNS record automatically. Done.

Manual (DNS hosted elsewhere): if your domain's DNS is at your registrar or another provider, the panel cannot edit it directly, so you add the record yourself:

  1. In Email Deliverability, view the suggested DKIM record - a TXT record with a name like default._domainkey and a long public-key value.
  2. Copy it exactly and add it in your DNS provider's control panel as a TXT record.
  3. Save and allow DNS to propagate.
  4. Return to the panel and confirm DKIM now shows as valid.

Common manual pitfalls: copying only part of the long key, adding the wrong host/name, or your DNS provider splitting the value incorrectly. After setup, test with mail-tester.com to confirm DKIM passes.

Either way the end result is the same - signed, trusted mail. If the panel keeps reporting DKIM as invalid after a manual add, we can compare the published record against the expected value for you - WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767.
