DirhamGuard

Enabling DirhamGuard on your own DirhamHost server

If you run your own server with the DirhamHost panel (rather than buying shared hosting from us), you can use DirhamGuard to apply the same fair resource limits to the accounts you host. This is how you keep every site on your server fast and protect against noisy neighbours.

DirhamGuard is built into the DirhamHost panel. To enable and configure it:

  1. Log in to your server's DirhamHost panel as the administrator.
  2. Open the DirhamGuard (resource limits) section.
  3. Turn on resource management for the server, then set default limits for CPU, memory, entry processes and disk activity.
  4. Assign limits per hosting package so each plan you sell has an appropriate allocation.

Once enabled, each account on your server is held to its package's limits automatically, and your customers can view their own usage graphs in their panel - just as Dirham A Day's shared-hosting customers do.

A few tips for licensees:

Detailed configuration guidance is available to DirhamHost licensees, and our team supports you directly. If you need a hand setting sensible limits for your server, contact us at support@dirhamaday.ae and we will help you get DirhamGuard tuned for your workload.

Still need a hand? Our UAE-based team is here 24/7.
