How DirhamGuard differs from cPanel's LVE
If you have used cPanel hosting before, you may have come across LVE (Lightweight Virtual Environment), the resource-limiting technology often used there. DirhamGuard serves the same fundamental purpose - fair, per-account resource limits that keep every site fast - but it is Dirham A Day's own system, tuned for our platform.
The shared goal is identical: give each account a guaranteed slice of CPU, memory and processes so no single site can slow down its neighbours ("noisy-neighbour" protection). If you are moving to us from cPanel, the concept will feel familiar - the same kinds of limits, applied for the same good reasons.
The main differences you will notice as a customer:
- A clearer view. DirhamGuard's usage graphs live in the DirhamHost panel and are designed to be readable by non-technical owners, not just administrators.
- Local support. When you have a question about your limits, you talk to our 24/7 UAE-based team who know the system inside out - not a distant help desk.
- Simple upgrades. Raising your limits is a seamless in-place plan change, with no migration and no downtime.
If you are migrating from cPanel and are used to seeing LVE limits, you can think of DirhamGuard as the equivalent on our platform - same protection, presented more simply. And remember, migration from cPanel is free and we handle the heavy lifting. Questions about how your limits translate? Ask our team at support@dirhamaday.ae.
