DirhamVault stores your backups off-site - on infrastructure separate from the server that runs your live website. This separation is what makes your backups resilient: even a serious problem with your hosting server cannot destroy your off-site copies. Access to your backups is restricted to your account.

Good practices to protect your own data:

• Secure your account. Your backups are only as protected as the login that can reach them, so use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
• Limit access. Only give panel access to people who genuinely need it.
• Handle downloads responsibly. If you download a backup, that copy is in your care - store it privately and delete copies you no longer need.
