DNSSEC: securing your DNS
DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) adds a layer of security to DNS by digitally signing your records. This helps protect visitors from being sent to fake versions of your site through DNS tampering.
When DNSSEC is enabled, DNS responses for your domain carry cryptographic signatures that resolvers can verify, ensuring the answer has not been altered in transit.
DNSSEC support depends on the domain extension and how your DNS is managed. To enable it, you generally add DNSSEC (DS) records at your registrar. You can review DNSSEC options for your domain in your client area.
Because misconfigured DNSSEC can make a domain fail to resolve, we recommend enabling it with care. If you would like DNSSEC set up for your domain, contact our team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae.
