Setting up DNS for Google Workspace

If you use Google Workspace for your business email, you need to point your domain email to Google using DNS records. You can do this while keeping your website with Dirham A Day.

In the DNS manager in your client area:

  1. Add the MX records Google provides, so email is delivered to Google.
  2. Add the TXT record Google gives you to verify domain ownership.
  3. Add SPF and, if provided, DKIM TXT records to improve deliverability.

Remove any old MX records first so email only goes to Google. Changes can take a few hours to take effect. Google shows the exact values in its admin console. If you get stuck entering them, contact our team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae and we will help.
