Creating a subdomain

A subdomain lets you run separate sections of your site under your main domain, such as shop.yourbusiness.ae, blog.yourbusiness.ae or support.yourbusiness.ae.

If you host with Dirham A Day, the easiest way is to create the subdomain in your hosting control panel, which sets up the folder and DNS for you. Alternatively, in the DNS manager in your client area you can add:

• An A record named after the subdomain, pointing to a server IP, or
• A CNAME record pointing the subdomain to another hostname.
