WHOIS privacy: keeping your details protected
When you register a domain, your contact details are recorded in the public WHOIS directory. WHOIS privacy replaces your personal name, address, email and phone number with protected contact details, helping to reduce spam and keep your information private.
You can enable WHOIS privacy for eligible domains from the domain settings in your client area. Please note:
- Privacy is available on most global extensions such as .com, .net and .org.
- Some country domains, including .ae, are governed by registry rules that may limit privacy options.
Whether or not you use privacy, your registrant details must still be accurate. If you are unsure which of your domains support privacy, contact our team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae and we will check for you.
