How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to logging in: after your password, you enter a short code from an app on your phone. Even if someone steals your password, they cannot get in without your phone. We strongly recommend enabling it everywhere you can.

For the DirhamHost control panel:

1. Log in and open the Two-Factor Authentication (Security) section.
2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy.
3. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm and activate 2FA.

For your client area at my.dirhamaday.ae, look for the security or two-factor option in your account settings and follow the same app-based setup.

For WordPress, install a reputable 2FA plugin (such as Wordfence or Two-Factor) and enable it for all administrator accounts.

Tips:

• Save the backup codes somewhere safe in case you lose your phone.
• Enable 2FA for every staff member with access.
