Troubleshooting

My SSL is not working

If your padlock is missing or you see a certificate warning, work through these steps.

  1. Check certificate status. In the DirhamHost panel at my.dirhamaday.ae, open SSL/TLS Status. If your domain is not secured, tick it and Run AutoSSL.
  2. Confirm DNS points to us. AutoSSL can only issue a certificate when your domain resolves to our servers. If DNS is elsewhere or the domain is behind another proxy, issuance fails.
  3. Force HTTPS. If the certificate is valid but the site still loads over http://, enable Force HTTPS Redirect for the domain.
  4. Fix mixed content. A valid certificate with a missing padlock usually means some images or scripts load over http://. Update those links to https://.
  5. Expired certificate. Usually caused by DNS having moved; re-run AutoSSL after correcting DNS.

Behind Cloudflare, set its SSL mode to Full to avoid handshake errors and redirect loops.

After a recent migration, run AutoSSL once DNS has fully pointed to us, then fix any old http:// links.

If AutoSSL will not complete even though DNS is correct, contact our 24/7 UAE team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae and we will re-issue the certificate for you.
