How do I spot a phishing email?
Phishing emails try to trick you into giving up passwords or payment details, or into clicking a malicious link. Scammers often pretend to be your hosting provider, bank, or a courier. Here is how to spot them.
Warning signs:
- Urgency or threats: "Your account will be suspended in 24 hours", "immediate action required".
- Requests for your password or payment details by email or via a link. Legitimate providers never ask for your password.
- Mismatched sender address or a display name that does not match the real email domain.
- Links that do not match: hover over a link and check the real destination before clicking.
- Spelling errors, odd greetings, or unexpected attachments.
What to do:
- Do not click links or open attachments in a suspicious message.
- Never enter your Dirham A Day password anywhere except the official client area at my.dirhamaday.ae or your own webmail.
- If in doubt about a message claiming to be from us, contact us directly on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae to verify before acting.
Genuine communications from Dirham A Day will only ever direct you to our official domains. When something feels off, pause and check with us first.
