Rebooting or rebuilding your VPS
Sometimes a VPS needs a reboot, for example after certain updates or if it becomes unresponsive. Occasionally you may want to rebuild it to start fresh with a clean operating system.
You can manage both from your client area:
- Log in at my.dirhamaday.ae.
- Open your VPS under Services.
- Use the Reboot control to restart the server, or Rebuild to reinstall the OS.
A reboot is quick and keeps all your data. A rebuild wipes the server and installs a fresh OS, which is useful for a clean start or switching operating systems, but it removes everything currently on the server.
