I think my site was hacked
Signs of a hack include unexpected pop-ups or ads, spam pages you didn't create, redirects to strange sites, a browser "deceptive site" warning, or emails from your domain you didn't send. Act quickly to limit the damage.
- Contact us first. Our 24/7 UAE team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae can scan your account, find infected files, and advise the safest path.
- Change every password: control panel, client area, email, FTP, database and all WordPress admins. Use new strong, unique passwords.
- Scan for malware using the Virus Scanner in the panel at my.dirhamaday.ae; our servers also run continuous scanning.
- Restore a clean backup from DirhamVault from before the infection, if available.
- Close the entry point: update WordPress core, plugins and themes; remove unknown admin users and unfamiliar files; delete unused plugins.
- Re-secure: enable two-factor authentication and review who has access.
Do not just restore and move on; if you don't fix the original weakness (often an outdated plugin or a weak password), the site can be reinfected.
We deal with these regularly and can guide you through cleanup and prevention. Reach us any time on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae.
