Keeping your registrant details accurate

Every domain has registrant details — the name, address, email and phone number of the owner. Keeping these accurate is important, and for many extensions it is a registry requirement.

Accurate details matter because:

• Renewal and expiry notices are sent to the registrant email.
• Domain transfers and ownership changes rely on a valid contact.
• Registries such as aeDA (for .ae) may suspend domains with false information.

To update your details, open the domain in your client area and edit the contact information. Changes to the registrant name on some domains count as an ownership change and may need extra verification.
