Getting your EPP / authorisation code

An EPP code (also called an authorisation or auth code) is a password that protects your domain during a transfer. You need it to move a domain between registrars.

If you are transferring a domain away from Dirham A Day, request the code from the domain settings in your client area, or contact our team. If you are transferring a domain to us, you must get the code from your current provider — it is usually found in their domain management panel or by contacting their support.

A few tips:

• The code is case-sensitive — copy it exactly.
• Make sure the domain is unlocked first.
• Some extensions, such as .ae, handle authorisation differently.
