Troubleshooting

Why am I not receiving emails?

Missing incoming email is usually down to filtering, quota, or DNS. Check these in order.

  1. Look in the Spam/Junk folder and in webmail (log in via my.dirhamaday.ae). The message may have been filtered, or your mail client may have downloaded and moved it.
  2. Check mailbox quota. A full mailbox rejects new mail. Delete large or old messages to free space.
  3. Review filters and forwarders. An email filter rule or an auto-forward you set up earlier may be diverting or deleting messages.
  4. Confirm your MX records. If your domain's DNS (MX records) does not point to our mail servers, for example after a recent DNS change, incoming mail goes elsewhere. This is common right after a migration.

Test it: send an email from an outside account (like a personal Gmail) and see if it arrives, and whether the sender gets a bounce message. A bounce often explains the exact reason.

If a specific sender's mail never arrives, ask them for any bounce/error they receive; it usually names the cause.

If you have checked spam, quota, filters and MX and mail is still missing, contact our 24/7 UAE team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae. We can trace delivery in the mail logs and confirm your DNS is correct.
