Troubleshooting

I can't log in to WordPress

Locked out of your WordPress dashboard? Here are the usual causes and fixes.

  1. Reset your password. Use the "Lost your password?" link on the login page. If the reset email never arrives, your site's outgoing mail may not be configured; use the next method instead.
  2. Reset via the database. In the DirhamHost panel at my.dirhamaday.ae, open phpMyAdmin, select your site's database, open the wp_users table, edit your user, and set a new password using the MD5 function in the password field. Save.
  3. Too many attempts? A security plugin (or our LFD) may have temporarily locked your IP after failed logins. Wait, or try from mobile data; if that works, your main IP is blocked.
  4. Plugin/theme conflict. If the login page errors or is blank, deactivate plugins by renaming the plugins folder via File Manager, then try again.
  5. Wrong site URL. After a migration, a mismatched Site URL can break login redirects; it can be corrected in wp-config.php or the database.

If you are still locked out, contact our 24/7 team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae and we can reset the password or credentials for you after verifying your identity.
