My account was suspended for high resource usage
Shared hosting fairly balances resources between all sites on a server. DirhamGuard enforces per-account limits (CPU, memory, processes) so one site cannot slow down everyone else. If your account repeatedly exceeds its limits, it may be temporarily throttled or suspended to protect the server.
Common causes of high usage:
- A traffic spike your plan's resources cannot handle.
- A heavy or inefficient plugin, or an uncached WordPress site under load.
- A runaway script, a bad cron job, or a bot/attack hammering the site.
- A resource-intensive task like a large import or backup running live.
What to do:
- Contact our 24/7 UAE team on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae to understand exactly what triggered it; we can show you the resource data.
- Optimise: enable caching, update and trim plugins, optimise the database, and move heavy tasks off-peak.
- Block abusive traffic if a bot is the cause.
- If your site has genuinely outgrown the plan, we can recommend an upgrade with more resources.
We would rather help you fix the root cause than keep hitting limits. Reach out on WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae or review your account at my.dirhamaday.ae.
