How to use a CDN with your WordPress site
A CDN (Content Delivery Network) stores copies of your images, CSS and scripts on servers around the world, so visitors load them from a location near them. If you have customers outside the UAE, a CDN speeds up their experience and reduces load on your hosting.
Popular free option — Cloudflare:
- Create a free Cloudflare account and add your domain.
- Update your domain’s nameservers to the two Cloudflare gives you (do this from where your domain is managed).
- Enable SSL in Cloudflare set to Full, since your site already has our free SSL.
- In WordPress, connect it with the LiteSpeed Cache or Cloudflare plugin and enable caching.
Cloudflare also adds security and DDoS protection. If you serve mainly UAE and Gulf visitors, our NVMe servers are already close to them, so a CDN mostly helps international reach.
Changing nameservers affects email and DNS, so make sure your records are copied across first. Our team can review your DNS before you switch — contact WhatsApp +971 58 553 6767 or support@dirhamaday.ae.
