How to speed up your WordPress site

A fast site keeps visitors and ranks better. You are already on our high-performance NVMe servers — these WordPress steps do the rest.

• Caching: install LiteSpeed Cache and enable page caching plus CSS/JS minify.
• Images: compress and serve WebP with ShortPixel or LiteSpeed’s image optimiser, and lazy-load them.
• Lightweight theme: use Astra, GeneratePress or Kadence rather than a heavy multipurpose theme.
• Fewer plugins: remove ones you do not use; each adds load.
• Latest PHP: in DirhamHost set PHP to a current version (8.1+).
• Database: clean it periodically with WP-Optimize.

Test before and after with Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix, and change one thing at a time so you can see what helped. For sites with visitors outside the UAE, add a CDN (see our CDN article).
