How to set up WooCommerce to sell online

WooCommerce turns WordPress into a full online shop — ideal for UAE businesses selling products or services in AED.

1. Go to Plugins → Add New, install and activate WooCommerce.
2. Follow the setup wizard: enter your store address (UAE), set the currency to AED, and choose what you sell.
3. Add products under Products → Add New with a title, price, photos and description.
4. Set up shipping zones (for example Emirates-wide) and tax if applicable.
5. Add payment methods — bank transfer, cash on delivery, or a card gateway such as Stripe, Telr or Network International.

Choose a lightweight, WooCommerce-ready theme (Astra or Kadence) and make sure your free SSL is active so checkout is secure — shoppers must see the padlock. Enable LiteSpeed Cache for speed, but exclude the cart and checkout pages from caching.
