What happens when I set up the DirhamStack hypervisor?

The Set up hypervisor step is what prepares your dedicated server to run virtual machines. You only need to do it once, after the DirhamStack add-on is active on the licence.

When you click it, DirhamStack installs libvirt and qemu and downloads a base OS image. This usually takes a few minutes, after which the console is ready for you to create your first VPS.

The process is designed to be safe on a live server. It uses an isolated NAT network and never touches the main network interface, and it does not restart or reconfigure existing websites, mail or panels. Your current workloads keep running throughout.
