What is a node fingerprint?

A node fingerprint is a unique identifier that DirhamHost generates for the server it is installed on. It is used to tie your per-server licence to that specific machine during activation.

Why it matters:

• It confirms your licence is being used on the server it was issued for.
• It prevents a single-server licence from being used on multiple machines at once.
• It is generated automatically — you do not need to create it manually.

If you rebuild or migrate to a new server, the fingerprint changes, so the licence needs to be reissued or reactivated for the new machine.
