Do I get a free SSL certificate?

Yes. Free SSL is included with every Dirham A Day hosting plan, at no extra cost. SSL is what puts the padlock in the browser and lets your site load over secure https, which protects your visitors and helps with search rankings and customer trust.

For most customers the SSL certificate is issued and installed automatically once your domain is pointed to your hosting, so there is usually nothing to configure. Certificates renew automatically too, so you never have to worry about expiry.

If your site is still showing as "not secure" a little while after setup, it is usually because the domain is not yet fully pointed to our servers, or the certificate is still being issued.
