How to fix mixed-content warnings on WordPress

A mixed-content warning means your page loads over secure https but some images, scripts or styles still use insecure http. The padlock then shows “not fully secure”.

Quickest fix: install the free Really Simple SSL plugin. It rewrites insecure links to https automatically for most sites.

Fix it in the database: for a permanent clean-up, take a backup, then use Better Search Replace to replace http://yourbusiness.ae with https://yourbusiness.ae across all tables. This corrects links baked into old posts and settings.

Find the culprit: open the page in Chrome, press F12 → Console, and it will name the exact insecure files. Common causes are hard-coded image URLs, an old theme option, or a slider plugin.
