Can I add custom code to my AI website?

The AI Website Maker is built to work without any coding, so you can create a full site just by clicking and typing. For most businesses you will never need code.

When you do want to add something extra — like a booking widget, a map, or a chat tool — you can usually add it with an embed or custom HTML element where available:

1. Edit the page and add an Embed or HTML element.
2. Paste the embed code your third-party service gives you (for example a Google Map, YouTube video, or booking system).
3. Save and Publish, then check it displays correctly on desktop and mobile.

Only paste code from services you trust, since embeds run on your site. If you need deep custom code — bespoke functionality or complex scripts — WordPress (included with your hosting) gives you full control and is the better choice.
